For ages, Virgin has had my favourite corporate 'voice'... Tumblr is making a good run at the title. Their T&Cs are great.

I concur.

Actually, Virgin has taken a massive plummet in endearing me to them (in australia at least). they've become the poor man's QANTAS, instead of a kickarse independent thang of their own. but that's another rant.

tumblr is the new myspace in terms of the shitness of their back end.
in my humble opinion... i can't understand why everyone seems to like it as a platform? do you know, lauren, oh conduit to the feelings of the young people?

the backend is quite simple, i admit, but what i like about it is the possibility to have multiple-member blogs, that can be private and you can just paste and pin stuff up. it's great for developing and brainstorming a variety of works. it's quite noticeboard like, without the ladies-who-lunch-ness of pinterest.

and it's pretty drag'n'drop.

i wouldn't use it for writing great theses, but i get it as a visual-based stream of consciousness that requires little.
