Ach! Sorry I missed this. I'd been checking your blog to see what was happening, but didn't see this come up or I would totally have called in. Wah! Hope it went super!
don't take it the wrong way (just me having great lack of art appreciation), but...
that ensemble really works for you.. was it a considered part of your artistic choices (and I mean that seriously, not in the way I normally ask these questions ;) )
hey huw - oh bummer that you missed the call. perhaps it was for the best - i didn't test it and it was pretty DIY :) next time, gadget, next time.

to answer your question, it was a considered and aesthetic part of the work and i'm glad you feel like it fit. i felt like that too.
