marina abramovic made my cry made me cry
a while ago i discovered this beautiful tumblr blog about the marina abramovic show at MoMA. every couple of days, i see these beautiful tear-stained faces staring intently at an absent figure, the amazing performance artist.
for me, her absence becomes immediately present, and i also cry. it's like an echo of what is really happening, which is also an echo of what is really happening.

I found myself up way past my bedtime scrolling through the entire flickr set. I was so taken with how every now and then a photo of the artist would be included. And that extraordinary man who went 7 times! The stories of celebrities jumping the queue made me laugh too. Ramona
i didn't see the stories of queue-jumping celebrities! that's it, i'm gonna have to dive back into that set.
i'm enjoying subscribing to it through my blog reader, so they float on through every couple of days.
